Overview

The project coordinator will be responsible for coordinating client requirements, onsite variations and manufacturing joinery details with the assistance of the Project Manager.

  • Actively coordinating projects by scheduling and order processing
  • Assist Project Manager with projects of a higher value
  • Creating full manufacturing details
  • Creating CAD drawings to aid illustrations
  • Liaising with customers, projects managers/coordinators and site mangers/agents
  • Liaising with suppliers to purchase materials
  • Operating to company policies, procedures, objectives and key performance indicators
  • Manage and prioritise projects to meet office due dates
  • Methodical with attention to detail on all orders, ensuring consistent and accurate administration is used
  • Communicate effectively with strong customer focus when liaising with project managers and teams
  • To take responsibility for projects, which require independent working
  • Oversee jobs are completed to specification when in manufacture
  • Actively seeking solutions to any problems occurring within a project
  • On site visits of new or existing projects when required
  • Operating IT systems and applications
  • Operate within organisational policies and practices
  • Order process using correct systems and adapting to new system when introduced
  • Follow Quality assurance ISO 9001 and FSC procedures
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with Project Manager
  • Confidentiality and integrity within meetings Other Skills/Abilities
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
  • Mathematics grade A-C, with good understanding of metric
  • Good communications skills
  • Joinery knowledge
